PRAY EVERYONE! It looks like there is a production on the horizon!!!! I have found some interested people and in the planning stages with meetings and organizing stuff!!! It looks like the “unofficial” NarrowWay Productions will be able to be a ministry outreach to children in the West Olive and surrounding areas! Pray for wisdom as we plan!!!
Update FINALLY!!
So here is the deal with NarrowWay everyone! Things did not pan out well for us in Colorado where I had originally wanted to start this theater company. Just not enough interest for people that I talked to there.
However, that was BY NO MEANS the end of my dreaming and planning! In fact, I am currently in process of writing NarrowWay’s first original production! God has really placed on my heart a burden to get this underway in the near future and I am doing all I can to pursue that dream and burden.
Currently still looking for the right LOCATION to do our first production (which will probably be a fun, family-friendly musical) to get people interested and then go from there. Have even had talk of putting together a smaller concert/drama performance to several churches in a combined setting to get fellow Christians on board with our dreams and plans and try to get some support.
Keep praying! The vision and dream is still there and HUGE and God is slowly guiding and directing!
Summer 2008 Production
Hey everyone! It’s official! What was once just a blog for ideas is now being transformed into a website to generate excitement and feedback for our NEW theater production company called “NarrowWay Productions”! We have spent many hours talking and praying through all of this, and I believe that God wants us to move forward.
NarrowWay is announcing it’s first production coming to the Colorado Springs area July 2008. We are currently looking for many volunteers that are interested in being a part of this new endeavor. We are looking for 6 performers who can sing, act, and dance. We are also looking for about 7-10 musicians to play in our band. And we are also on the hunt for some technicians to help with set design/building and running the technical side of the show. Also, we are looking for local and national support, both in finances and time. If this dream is to become a reality, we will need all of the help we can get.
More details will be coming in the future, but for now . . . pray about the part God may want you to play in bringing good, family-friendly theater entertainment to the Colorado Springs community. We also want to produce some original shows that will challenge our faith and grow us closer to our Savior! Thank you for you prayers!
Website to be UPDATED!!!
Okay everyone, we are starting to make the move from just an old blog talking about ideas, to a full blown, public website. I am going to start putting up information for others to read about future plans and direction toward our Summer 2008 production. The first piece of news is that I have created an e-mail address for people to write to with questions or to volunteer time whether a performer, musician, or technician for our shows.

I am also putting together some brochures, flyers, and business cards to start getting our name and dream out into the community of Colorado Springs.
Here we go . . . we are starting to make that “leap of faith” as it were. I am excited!!
What’s new with NarrowWay?
So a summer production was not in the final plans for this summer, but finally I have been able to get out to Colorado Springs to get a “feel” for how a Christian community theater would go over here. So far, I have found that many people would LOVE for us to “set up shop” here. And that is very encouraging. If only we can find an auditorium to rent for the summer next year!
I have a few options in mind . . . just waiting to see how things pan out. But for now, we ARE planning on producing “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” next summer! Small cast, just looking for six very strong actors and singers, to perform. At the shows we will present out dream to the audience and see how many people are interested in our dream!
